The Protocol Converter and Control (PCC) is a product that interfaces with the site’s Point of Sale (POS)  and communicates over a PriceNet™ network with the PCU’s. The communication consists of price change commands, maintenance- and system control data. The PCC is mounted inside the site’s technical room.
The main features of a PCC are:

• Interfaces with the site's Point of Sale (POS) system
• Communicates over a PriceNet™ network with the PCU's and supports Radio Frequency devices to replace ground data cable
• PC input port for configuration, diagnostics and optional control
• Supports modem option for connection to backoffice, enabling: remote control, diagnostics (full feedback on display information and status) and software upgrade
• Capable of controlling multiple information signs with various display technologies
